Part time classification is a minimum of 2 days per week, minimum of 16 hours weekly.
Duties
Work with provider staff (NP/PA/MD/DO), clinical support staff (MA, RN) and administrative staff (reception and leadership) assisting in the rendering direct and indirect patient care. Responsible for clerical intake data collection, including patient demographics, contact information, insurance information, and collection of balances or copayments. Will schedule patients using the AFH Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, update financial data in the AFH billing system, assign electronic tasks, sort and prioritize incoming information, input and relay messages or tasks as delegated to the patient, staff, or providers. Communicate in spoken and written form using a professional manner with appropriate terminology at all times, both within and outside of the clinic. Assist with the clerical coordination of care with other healthcare professionals inside and outside of AFH, assist and possibly lead community education courses, and be open to local, regional and international mission opportunities.

Malpractice (incident based) 1M/3M required.

Complete procedures, manage acute/chronic health concerns for patients across the lifespan, order and interpret diagnostic testing, coordinate care with other healthcare professionals inside and outside of AFH, lead community education courses, and be open to local, regional and international mission opportunities.

- Annual discretionary fund access (education, licensure, personal leave, malpractice insurance, etc) after first year
